New Delhi, Feb 22 (PTI) Coriander prices on Monday rose by Rs 8 to Rs 6,540 per quintal in futures trade as speculators widened their holdings tracking firm trend in spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander for April delivery gained Rs 8, or 0.12 per cent, to Rs 6,540 per quintal with an open interest of 3,280 lots.

For delivery in May, coriander prices traded higher by Rs 6, or 0.09 per cent, to Rs 6,576 per quintal with an open interest of 110 lots.

A firm trend in spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions pushed up coriander prices here, market analysts said. PTI SRS RUJ RUJ
