New Delhi, Feb 23 (PTI) Coriander prices on Tuesday rose by Rs 76 to Rs 6,634 per quintal in futures trade as speculators widened their holdings tracking firm trend in spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander for April delivery gained Rs 76, or 1.16 per cent, to Rs 6,634 per quintal with an open interest of 3,445 lots.

For delivery in May, coriander prices traded higher by Rs 104, or 1.58 per cent, to Rs 6,680 per quintal with an open interest of 120 lots.

A firm trend in spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions pushed up coriander prices here, market analysts said. PTI SRS RUJ RUJ
