Coriander futures decline on low demand

New Delhi, Mar 23 (PTI) Coriander prices on Tuesday fell by Rs 20 to Rs 7,138 per quintal in futures trade as speculators reduced their positions amid weak demand at spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for April eased by Rs 20, or 0.28 per cent, to Rs 7,138 per quintal in 6,740 lots.

For May delivery, the price decreased by Rs 2, or 0.03 per cent, to Rs 7,220 per quintal in 2,475 lots.

Market analysts said subdued demand in spot market mainly led to decline in coriander prices here. PTI SRS SHW SHW
