Cops thrashed farmer in Beed for stepping out to buy seeds and violating the lockdown

A Farmer in Beed allegedly was brutally beaten up by the cops. He was out to buy seeds as farms related shops are allowed to remain open in this lockdown. Even though the agricultural activities are permitted to operate amid the lockdown, he was accused of violating the lockdown. As per sources, the police caught hold of the farmer and thrashed him for the violations. The farmer has visible marks and injuries from the encounter, and an enquiry has been put in place to investigate this matter. The policemen who did this and the reason behind this horrendous act is yet to be discovered by the investigators on this police high handedness that has captured attention.
