Copper futures rise marginally on fresh bets

New Delhi, Feb 8 (PTI) Copper prices on Monday rose by 0.51 per cent to Rs 612.65 per kg in futures trade on a pick-up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for February delivery traded higher by Rs 3.10, or 0.51 per cent, to Rs 612.65 per kg in a business turnover of 3,763 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to increase in bets by participants, driven by a pick-up in spot demand. PTI SHW RUJ RUJ
