Copper futures rise marginally on fresh bets

New Delhi, Oct 27 (PTI) Copper prices on Tuesday rose by 0.19 per cent to Rs 529.75 per kg in futures trade on pick-up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for November delivery traded higher by Re 1, or 0.19 per cent, at Rs 529.75 per kg in a business turnover of 4,951 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to raising of bets by participants, driven by a pick-up in spot demand. PTI SHW RUJ RUJ
