New Delhi, Apr 11 (PTI) Copper prices rose by 0.32 per cent to Rs 373.75 per kg in futures trade today as speculators built up fresh positions amid rising demand in domestic spot markets.
In futures trading at the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper for delivery in April traded higher by Rs 1.20, or 0.32 per cent, to Rs 373.75 per kg in a business turnover of 684 lots.
Metal for delivery in June rose Rs 1.15, or 0.31 per cent, to Rs 377.90 per kg in 8 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper futures to a firm trend at the domestic markets following pick-up in demand from consuming industries.
