‘We have to consider India as one of closest partners’: Portuguese Foreign Minister

Delhi, June 23 (ANI): External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar held a virtually meeting with his Portuguese counterpart Augusto Santos Silva to discuss future of India-EU relation. They talked about economic recovery, healthcare, technology, and the Indo-Pacific region issues. Portuguese Foreign Minister Augusto Santos Silva said,” We need to pay more attention to the Indo-Pacific region in terms of security, freedom of navigation, and economic relations and for that, we have to consider India as one of our closest partners”.
