Congress’ P. Chidambaram slams centre over ‘Insufficiency of COVID vaccines’

Congress has slammed the Centre over 'insufficiency of vaccines'. Former Union Minister P Chidambaram tweeted and demanded the resignation of the minister who said there is no shortage of vaccines. In the tweet, he mentioned that the rollout of vaccination to 18-44 years ol announced by the Union Health Minister is a non-starter. He further added that all but six states have refused to rollout the programme citing insufficiency of COVID vaccines. P. Chidambaram has spoken about the six states that have refused to roll the programme. He has taken a jibe at the centre, stating the minister who declared that there is no shortage of vaccines should admit his failure and resign. More details are brought in by Prashant.
