Congress MP, Rahul Gandhi tests positive for Covid -19, says has 'mild symptoms of the disease'

Senior Congress leader, Rahul Gandhi has tested positive for Covid-19 today. He tweeted about the same, requesting everyone who came in direct contact with him to follow covid-19 isolation protocols. He is experiencing mild symptoms and is self-isolating himself right now. The news came after he cancelled his public rallies for the Bengal Elections amid a surge in the Covid-19 cases across India. He had also criticized the political parties continuing to rally even with a rapid increase in the number of cases. Over the last few days, various other politicians, including, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, have tested positive for the virus.
