Congress-Left alliance gets official in West Bengal ahead of polls in 2021

Congress has officially joined hands with the Left in the state of West Bengal, which will be going to poll in the upcoming year. Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury took it to Twitter to confirm the alliance. This after Home Minister Amit Shah visited West Bengal for a two-day visit and CM Mamata Banerjee came in full swing after TMC strongman Suvendu Adhikari quit the party. However, it is yet to be seen if Mamata Banerjee will rope in Congress and its ally for the state assembly polls. The seat-sharing formula for Congress and its alliance in the state is yet to be decided.
