Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's 'No Democracy' remark sparks row; BJP hits back

Another controversial remark has been made by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Rahul Gandhi has stated that there is no democracy under the Modi government. This after the election results of DDC in Jammu & Kashmir was declared. Rahul Gandhi met President Kovind today, in order to discuss the ongoing farmers' protest. He mocked the mandate of the people of India. Congress supporters have also agreed with Rahul Gandhi's statement and have stated that this government imposes Sec 144, whenever somebody tries to protest.

BJP leader has hit out and stated that it was the Congress party that imposed an emergency back in 1975. Nupur Sharma also adds that India and Jammu & Kashmir, in particular, have celebrated democracy.
