In 4-part audio release spree, Congress drops bribe bomb on BSY, Sriramulu
Ahead of the floor test in Karnataka assembly, Congress has gone on an audio release spree. The party has released the fourth clip claiming it to be a phone conversation between BJP MLA Sriramulu and Congress MLA BC Patil.
Congress has alleged Sriramulu was caught offering crores to Congress MLA BC Patil. The party has also accused BJP national leader Muralidhar Rao of horse trading.
With the third audio clip, Congress claimed that CM Yeddyurappa tried bribing its MLA BC Patil.
After B Janaradhan Reddy and BY Vijayendra, the party had also accused Yeddyurappa of trying to bribe MLA BC Patil.
In the audio clip, Yeddyurappa can be allegedly heard offering a ministerial position to Patil. He even asks Patil to not go to Kochi and come back instead. "Once you go to Cochin, the matter is closed because we won't be able to catch you," Yeddyurappa tells Patil.
The audio clip was released by Congress and couldn't be independently verified by India Today.
Here's the transcript of the audio clip:

Earlier, the Congress had accused B Janaradhan Reddy and Yeddyurappa's son BY Vijayendra of allegedly trying to bribe their MLAs.
According to the party, Vijayendra had offered their MLA with a ministry and Rs 15 crore to switch sides.
The party claimed that Vijayendra tried talking to the wife of Congress MLA Shiram Hebbar. In an unverified clip, the person who Congress claims is Vijayendra, is heard negotiating with the alleged wife using the offer of minister posts and relief in a criminal case.
