New Delhi, Oct 23: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday lashed out at Congress party calling it ” Dramebaaz number one”. The statement was made by Law & Justice, Information Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Pradesh at the time when Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi was conducting a mega rally at Gandhinagar in poll-bound Gujarat.

Talking about Alpesh Thakore, the OBC leader of Gujarat, who recently declared that he will join hands with Congress, Prasad said: ” He is just being welcomed back. It was always his party.” “From Mehsana district, Thakore fought panchayat polls on Congress ticket and also his father belongs to the Congress party as he is a District President of the party in the state,” said Prasad.

Hitting out at Rahul Gandhi, the BJP veteran said neither has he done his “homework” nor his scriptwriters as in India politics is a serious business. ” Gandhi on social media trends everywhere from Kazakhstan to Indonesia or at times in Russia, he must do or achieve something good so that he can trend in India as well,” stated Prasad.

The Union Minister said that Gandhi scion has not yet adapted himself to the dynamics of economics and development and these matters are alien to him. This statement was issued by Prasad in reference to the allegations imposed by the grand old party that BJP is pressurising the Election Commission to delay the dates of Gujarat elections.

Speaking on reports that Congress might knock on the doors of the court in this matter, Prasad said, “They are free to take a legal action, no one is stopping them to do so. It is unkind of Congress to impose such baseless allegations.”
