New Delhi, May 19 (ANI): Atomic Energy Commission chairman Ratan Kumar Sinha has said that the process of commissioning Unit 2 of the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant is at an 'advanced stage', and added that the fuel required for the same will soon be loaded into the reactor.
"The regulators are reviewing the progress and we will soon be loading the nuclear fuel," Sinha, also the secretary for Department of Atomic Energy told the media.
The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) had postponed putting the power unit 2 into commercial operation until July 2015. Before that, the commissioning had been postponed thrice. (ANI)
