Co-win registration begins; Vaccination drive to start from April 1

India continues its battle against COVID-19 as over 53,000 cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. Maharashtra alone has recorded over 31,000 cases and 111 deaths in the last 24 hours. Apart from Maharashtra, Punjab also continues to be a cause of concern as far as the COVID case spike is concerned. The government has now opened the registration for vaccination on the Cowin platform. Anyone who is above 45 years can now register on the platform and can schedule their vaccination on or after April 1. The focus is now going to be more on vaccinating people.
