Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal during a conference on 'Daring cities 2020' on October 07 along with other leaders from around the world shared the upcoming agenda of the state government to control air pollution. Kejriwal said, "The Indian Agricultural institute has recently come out with a chemical solution when sprayed over the stubble converts it into manure. Sprinkling of this manure across the fields, Delhi will be state government's responsibility. We are also planning to promote, public and non-motorized transport in a big way. We are doubling the fleet of buses in the next few years. We have recently launched our electrical vehicle policy, people shifting to electric vehicle will be provided special subsidy by the state government. The target is that by 2024, at least 25% of all the new vehicles purchased in the city are electric."
