Jaipur (Rajasthan) July 15 (ANI): Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has urged the centre to fast-track vaccine supply in the state amid a growing shortage of the second doses. While reviewing the vaccination campaign in the state through video conference, the CM said that Rajasthan was doing excellent management of COVID vaccination but due to a meagre supply against a vast requirement, people awaiting their second jab were suffering.While citing experts’ apprehensions of a third wave striking the country in a few weeks, Gehlot said that the state was required to vaccinate as many people as it can with both the doses to prevent such a situation.The CM also directed the officers to work in coordination with the central government to expedite the supply.The Chief Minister underlined that the World Health Organization (WHO) has also appreciated the vaccination management of Rajasthan. According to a WHO report, Rajasthan is included in the leading states that have recorded the least wastage of vaccines.
