The Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality hospital was one of the Covid dedicated hospitals in both the Covid waves and the hospital was grappling during the oxygen shortage of oxygen, especially during the second wave of Covid19. Three oxygen plants have been set up just a week before when the Delhi government inaugurated the plant. The Delhi government claims that these plants will meet 80% of the demand. The patient load was increasing, and the need for oxygen was comparatively higher during the second wave. The hospital has three plants as of now and is about to install two more, which will help meet the requirement of oxygen crisis in other waves.
