For the unversed, the whole controversy started on International Women's Day, when Ram Gopal took to Twitter and made some sexist and misogynistic remarks, specially targeting Sunny Leone in one. He tweeted, "I wish all the women in the world give men as much happiness as Sunny Leone gives." In the recent development, the 54-year-old filmmaker has apologised to "those who genuinely got offended." "Was just expressing my feelings but I apologise to all who were offended due to my unintended insensitive tweets in context of women's day, he tweeted.
