Chiranjeevi to lend voice for Baahubali 2? NO, says SS Rajamouli

Rumours were rife that SS Rajamouli's epic fantasy drama Baahubali: The Conclusion will have a voice-over by megastar Chiranjeevi.

After a 10-year-long hiatus, Chiranjeevi once again proved why he's the 'Megastar' of Telugu cinema with Khaidi No 150, which reportedly grossed Rs 100 crore in 4 days.

For the last few days, reports were doing rounds on social media that Chiranjeevi will lend his voice for the much-anticipated Indian film of the year Baahubali: The Conclusion.

Sadly, Rajamouli took to Twitter and clarified that the Khaidi star has not lent his voice for the film.

Earlier to this, Chiranjeevi gave a voice-over for Rana Daggubati's war-at-sea thriller The Ghazi Attack in Telugu.

If reports are anything to go by, Queen Elizabeth and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are likely to watch the premiere show of Baahubali 2 before anyone else at the British Film Institute's 'India on Film' program.

Interestingly, SS Rajamouli, in an interview to a vernacular channel said that the war scene between Baahubali and Bhallala Deva is the highlight of the film.

The Eega director also assured that the theatrical trailer of the film will be out by mid-March. Baahubali: The Beginning, which hit the screens in 2015, was highly successful and grossed Rs 600 crore worldwide.

Speaking at the India Today Conclave South 2017, SS Rajamouli revealed that Baahubali 2 would be bigger and better than Baahubali.
