Jaipur (Rajasthan) April 12 (ANI): Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot virtually interacted with the public representatives, officials and employees up to the panchayat level on the issue of Chief Minister's Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme and COVID-19 situation in the state. During the meeting, Chief Minister Gehlot said that while giving the highest priority to the health of the people, the State Government on the one hand wants to win the battle against coronavirus and on the other hand, it is also launching the ambitious 'Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance' scheme. This scheme will free people from the huge expense of treatment and worries. He said that efforts are being made to complete the budget announcements expeditiously, to alleviate the pain and suffering of the people. The Chief Minister said that due to the second wave of coronavirus, the rapidly growing infection has become a matter of great concern for the government. The state government is constantly taking tough decisions to control the situation. CM Gehlot cautioned that this time the danger of infection is also visible in the remote villages. This altered mood of COVID-19 is more deadly and dangerous than before. To prevent this, all of us will once again have to ensure adherence to protocols such as wearing mask, maintaining two yard distance as before.
