A Chinese spy ring has been busted in the National Capital. Three suspects have been nabbed who allegedly provided information related to military deployment in Doklam and Galwan to the Chinese. One of these people was a freelance journalist.
Freelance journalist Rajeev Sharma received Rs 40-45 lakh in around one-and-a-half years and was getting USD 1,000 for each information. The cops have also arrested Chinese woman Qing Shi and her Nepalese partner Sher Singh alias Raj Bohra. The duo was paying Sharma huge amounts of money routed through hawala channels. During the interrogation, Sharma revealed that he had sent several documents in the form of reports to his handlers and got paid handsomely.
