Raipur, Jun 28 (PTI) Chhattisgarh's COVID-19 count rose to 9,93,694 on Monday with the addition of 405 fresh cases, while the death toll increased by six to 13,437, an official said.
The number of recoveries reached 9,74,049 after 136 people were discharged from various hospitals, while 651 others completed their home isolation during the day (total 787), he said.
The number of active cases in the state stands at 6,208, the official informed.
Raipur district reported 21 new cases, taking the caseload to 1,57,145, including 3,130 deaths. Bijapur recorded 46 new cases and Janjgir-Champa 35, while Bastar and Sukma reported 30 cases each, he said.
With 33,054 samples examined in the last 24 hours, the total number of tests in the state went up to 1,02,40,220, the official said.
Meanwhile, the Raipur district administration on Monday issued fresh guidelines providing relaxations for various activities in the district.
However, the night 'lockdown' will continue to remain in force in the district from 8 pm to 6 am on all days, it said.
According to an order issued by the Raipur collector, temporary and permanent shops, malls, supermarkets, showrooms, saloons, spas, gymnasiums, parks and libraries will be allowed to remain open till 8 pm on all days of the week.
Water parks, theme parks, cinema halls/theatres, swimming pools and public places like jungle safari zoo, will be allowed to open till 8 pm. The occupancy of cinema halls and theatres shall not be more than 50 per cent of their total seating capacity, it said.
Schools and colleges will continue to remain shut for students, while events like public meeting, rally, procession, demonstration and political, social, sports, cultural and religious programmes will remain prohibited in Raipur district, the order said.
