Chhattisgarh naxal attack: 3 IED blasts took place at bridge in Narayanpur, informs ADG

Raipur (Chhattisgarh), Mar 23 (ANI): Around four District Reserve Guard (DRG) jawans and one police personnel have lost their lives in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast triggered by Naxals in Chhattisgarh’s Narayanpur district. Few jawans also got injured and have been admitted in the hospital for medical treatment. More details are awaited in this regard. While addressing a press conference in Raipur on March 23, the ADG of Anti Naxal Operations, Ashok Juneja said, “Anti-naxal operations were going on. One DRG party was returning after the operation when around at 04.15 pm, 3 IED blasts took place at a bridge in their route. Driver and 2 jawans died on spot, 2 died later at hospital - 5 jawans lost their lives.”
