Chhattisgarh: ITBP jawan injured in an IED explosion triggered by Naxals

One Indo-Tibetan border police officer has been injured in an IED blast triggered by Naxalites in Narayanpur while on a search operation where a sudden explosion occurred. However, it is reported that it was a minor blast and not much loss has been inflicted on the police force.

This is not the first time such an incident of attack has occurred in the Naxalite areas as previously, it has been noted that the Maoists were responsible for an attack at a camp of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) force in restive Bastar region of Chhattisgarh a few years ago, with no casualty or injury to anyone on the ITBP side.
