C'garh reports 333 COVID-19 cases, three deaths

Raipur, Jul 15 (PTI) Chhattisgarh on Thursday reported 333 new cases of COVID-19 and three deaths, taking the total of infections to 9,99,150 and death toll to 13,489, a health official said.

The number of recoveries rose to 9,81,645 after 99 patients were discharged from hospitals while 243 others completed their home isolation during the day.

The number of active cases in the state stood at 4,016.

Raipur district recorded 16 new cases, taking its caseload to 1,57,488 including 3,136 deaths. Rajnandgaon recorded 35 new cases, Sukma 31 and Dhamtari 25, among other districts.

With 40,836 samples tested on Thursday, the total of coronavirus tests in the state went up to 1,08,04,099.
