The Union Health Ministry of India has revised its COVID clinical management guidelines stating that the virus spreads “predominantly through the airborne route and droplet released when the infected person coughs, sneezes or talks". This new set of guidelines mark a change from the protocol of 2020 that claimed that the infection spreads due to close contact.
