A team of the Central Bureau of Investigation visited the spot in Hathras where a 19-year-old Dalit woman was allegedly gangraped on September 14. The CBI team examined the crime spot and also took the victim’s brother along with them to the place where the crime had been committed. The CBI team was also joined by a team of forensic experts. The case was referred to the CBI by the state government after a political storm over the alleged apathy of the administration.
