The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has widened its probe in two cases, coal and cattle smuggling cases. The CBI has summoned senior West Bengal police officers regarding these cases. Former Hooghly SP has also been summoned for alleged coal smuggling case for Jan 8.
The CBI has been investigating the cattle and coal smuggling in the state of West Bengal. It suspects that the local police is working in complicity with the politicians to allow the smuggling to take place. A piece of direct evidence is said to be present in the cattle smuggling case, where the police have turned a complete blind eye to the crime. Listen in!
