CBI conducts raid at Anil Deshmukh's residence in Mumbai; leaves after seizing documents

Maharashtra's Former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh is now facing the wrath of the Central Bureau of Investigation after the Bombay High Court directed the CBI to initiate a preliminary inquiry into the extortion charges levelled against him. The CBI has now raided several locations in Maharashtra in connection with the case and has recently left the residence of Anil Deshmukh. An emergency meeting was also underway at the same time at the residence of Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray.
