A car in the convoy of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat was involved in an accident that left a six-year-old child dead on Wednesday.
The car hit a bike on which the child was travelling.
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat was coming back from Tijara in Rajasthan when the accident happened.
The collision took place on the Harsoli Mundawar Road.
The bike hit in the accident belonged to local sarpanch Chetram Yadav. Yadav is critically injured and is being treated at a local hospital.
Yadav's grandson Sachin was killed in the accident.
Bhagwat was in Rajasthan to attend a three-day RSS coordination meeting in Pushkar. Over 200 delegates of 35 RSS affiliates attended the coordination meeting, the first after the Lok Sabha elections.
In May, a vehicle in RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's convoy overturned after it tried to avoid a cow that was standing in the middle of a road near Warora in Maharashtra's Chandrapur district. One CISF officer was injured in the accident.
