The breaking news is regarding the increased MSP of the Kharif crops. The cabinet committee on the economic affairs chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the increase in the minimum support prices of all the mandated Kharif crops for the marketing season 2021-22. The step is taken to ensure the revenue rate of costs grows of the produced. The highest MSP increase of the previous year has been recommended for sesame that aids Rs.452 quintal, followed by Toor and Urad dal, priced at Rs.300 quintal. The government has built an entire strategy to help the farmers in the current pandemic situation.
