By 2030, these will be the 10 most powerful economies

India will be the world’s third largest economy, while China would have upstaged the United States to take the top spot by 2030, according to a PricewaterhouseCoopers report.

The PwC survey is based on the country’s economic development and gross domestic product by ‘purchasing power parity’. PPP determines a country’s productivity and standards of living at a certain time-period.

Here’s a look at the top 10 economies by 2030 with their projected GDP listed in US dollar denomination.

(For the reference, the United States’ current PPP is $18.562 trillion)
