Buddhists eagerly await Dalai Lama's visit

The city of Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh is getting ready to welcome the Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama, who is due to arrive on Tuesday (April 4) despite strong protests from Beijing. Expressing happiness a preacher said that he is free to travel anywhere in India. Followers of the Dalai Lama hung colourful prayer flags throughout the town, which is home to India's biggest monastery and world's second biggest Buddhist monastery.
