Borussia Dortmund football team bus hit by explosion, one wounded

New Delhi, April 12: German football team Borussia Dortmund claimed that there bus was hit by an explosion and injured one of the passenger. The bus was carrying the team to a Champions League match when the explosion hit the vehicle. Player Marc Bartra was injured in the explosion and has bee reportedly taken to hospital.

According to AFP, the window of the bus were broken due to the impact of the bus. As per North Rhine Westphalia police, the police was at the scene of the incident and there were also fire engines at the spot. The team tweeted that apart from Marc Bartra, other players were safe and there was no danger in or around the stadium.

The decision, if the match against Monaco as scheduled will still be played will be announced at 20:30 local time (18:30 GMT)
