BMC chief Iqbal Singh Chahal shares an overall view of the situation in Mumbai | EXCLUSIVE

Mumbai: As the COVID-19 situation continues to remain grim, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) chief Iqbal Singh Chahal assured that there is no shortage of beds in Maharashtra’s capital.

While talking to Times Now’s Heena Gambhir, the BMC chief tried to give an overall view of the situation and said that as per experts, the coronavirus condition in Mumbai will start stabilising in a week's time.

He also talked about the prospects of another lockdown in Mumbai, hinting that if the authorities go ahead with extending weekend lockdown to weekdays, restrictions will not be as stringent as they were during the first wave.
