BJP workers protest party’s decision to field TMC turncoats overlooking its cadre

Kolkata: Hundreds of BJP workers held a massive protest outside the BJP’s office in Kolkata after the party fielded some of the TMC turncoats who joined the party just a few weeks ahead of the elections and overlooked the loyal workers who claim to have strengthened the party over the years in the state.

The BJP workers have been camping outside the BJP office for the past 48 hours and demanding that the TMC turncoats not be given a ticket.

Protestors from various parts of the state have been agitating outside the office. The protestors from Panchla, Udaynarayanpur, Raidighi among other places stormed the party’s office and showed their protest.

To control the situation, security arrangements were put on high alert, barricades were put by the cops to prevent protesters from entering into the BJP office or the lane nearby it.
