West Bengal: BJP opposes Mamata Banerjee's proposal of Legislative Council; TMC hits back

In West Bengal, the Mamata government has now proposed for a legislative council, and BJP has strongly opposed it. Trinamool Congress called it a double standard. On the part of the Bhartiya Janata Party since the bicameral legislature exists in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Maharashtra, and all these states are ruled by BJP. So this is being called strategic push by TMC proposing Vidhan Parishad for West Bengal 52 years after it was cracked.
