On Wednesday, Rajsamand MP Diya Kumari issued a letter to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot asking him to give permission to organise state military recruitment rallies.
She said Army sources recently told her that Army recruitment rallies are being organised in different states after the unlocking throughout the world. But in Rajasthan, no recruitment rally has been authorised yet. Instructions to organise recruitment rallies in the state at the earliest, she requested, should be released. This will provide jobs for the unemployed youth, and new sentries will also be provided to the borders of the country.
Around 1.60 lakh youth have registered for Army recruitment so far. The Army Recruitment Headquarters in Jaipur, Ajmer, Jodhpur, Udaipur and Nagaur districts of Rajasthan are all set to hold a recruitment rally. At these rallies, all the Covid-19 safety protocols will be followed.
