A BJP leader and MP Arjun Singh faces West Bengal's CID heat after a case was filed against him after his alleged involvement in the economic offence committed by him while he was a member of the ruling TMC party. The CID raided the residence of the BJP MP in the state. The Bhartiya Janata Party has lashed out at the TMC over this, citing vendetta. However, the TMC has dismissed the tit-for-tat charge levelled by the Bhartiya Janata Party. This comes days after the CBI started the probe in the Narada scam once again and arrested 4 TMC ministers and leaders in connection to the same. A summons was issued late last night to the Lok Sabha MP in Barrackpore.
