BJP to file complaint against Didi over affidavit row; party claims suppression of facts

Another political controversy has now erupted as the BJP is likely to approach the Election Commission over Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee's affidavit regarding her nomination from Nandigram. The Bhartiya Janata Party has alleged that TMC supremo and Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee suppressed the details in order to hide criminal cases registered against her. The BJP has alleged that there are six criminal cases against Mamata Banerjee that were not mentioned by her in her nomination papers. BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari spoke to Times Now and stated that there are five cases against Didi in Assam and one is pending with the CBI. The EC will now decide on whether the affidavits submitted by Mamata Banerjee were defective or not.
