The Bird flu scare has grip the nation with more states reporting cases of Avian Influenza. Trouble mounts on Delhi as both its neighboring states, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana have reported cases of the bird flu. Multiple states have issued red alerts, with meetings being chaired in order to discuss the precautionary measures. Uttar Pradesh has now become the seventh state to confirm the bird flu cases in the state. The states are working continuously in order to contain the spread of bird flu. 2 cases in Kanpur have been confirmed and the zoo campuses have been closed as precautionary measures. Delhi has shut the poultry market for 10 days along with the ban on the import of live birds.
