Binoy Tamang quits Gorkha Janmukti Morcha

Siliguri (WB), July 15 (ANI): In a major political development in West Bengal, Binoy Tamang on Thursday resigned from the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (Tamang) party.“I've resigned from the party. I'm not going to quit politics right now. We'll see how my political journey goes. I want to start a new political journey very soon. I will reveal it soon. It will be in the interest of the people of Darjeeling and Gorkhas,” said Binoy Tamang.Binoy led one of the factions of GJM while other faction is led by founder Bimal Gurung. Gorkha Janmukti Morcha was divided over in 2017 following violent clashes over demand of separate state of Gorkhaland.
