Janata Dal’s Party has expelled fifteen of its leaders including MLAs, Former MLAs and other Netas for their involvement in anti-party activities. Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar is also a member of the Janata Dal Party. This decision was taken ahead of the Bihar Poll Elections. Among those expelled by the party are Dadan Singh Yadav, Rameshwar Paswan, Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha, Kanchan Kumari Gupta, Ranvijay Singh besides others. The 243-seater Assembly is the first to go to polls after the COVID-19 pandemic. It will be a verdict on CM Nitish Kumar's governance as well as on PM Narendra Modi's popularity.
