Bengaluru: 10 vials of Amphotericin B stolen; complaint against hospital staff

Bengaluru: The vials of Amphotericin B have been stolen from the Victoria hospital. The doctors have now filed a complaint to the Vishvespuram police stating the theft of 10 vials that got stolen from the hospital ward. The vial went missing from the ward where the mucormycosis patients are being treated. On the basis of the complaint, the police have now registered an FIR. There have been more than 1400 cases, and more than 14000 injections are needed to cure Karnataka patients. Due to the shortage of supply, only 1000 vials are available in Bengaluru, which is a state of concern for the state.
