West Bengal govt's Former Chief Secretary Alapan Bandhopadhyay has now been served another show-cause notice. Alapan has been served a notice under the Disaster Management Act and has been asked to respond to the notice in three days. This comes days after PM Modi chaired a review meeting for Cyclone Yaas in the state of West Bengal and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee stoked a row. TMC MP Sougata Roy has reacted to the show-cause notice issued to Alapan and has stated that the former Chief Secretary is now retired and will be able to explain his stance well.
