Bengal post poll violence case: Petitioner files caveat in Supreme Court

In the West Bengal post poll violence case, the petitioner has filed a caveat in the Supreme court where he says that the Supreme court should ensure that 'i am heard in the case'. The main petitioner in the alleged post poll violence case is the first who had filed the petition before Calcutta High Court. The TMC government's request to recall the June 18 order was refused by a five-judge bench led by Chief Justice Rajesh Bindal. The ruling came in response to a slew of petitions citing displacement of individuals from their homes, physical assault, property destruction, and ransacking of businesses as a result of post-election violence in the state.
