Bengal polls: TMC, BJP workers clash in Bidhannagar over alleged booth-rigging

Clash broke out between BJP and TMC workers near a polling booth in Bidhannagar. The incident comes amid the fifth phase of voting for West Bengal assembly elections. “Two of our people were injured in stone-pelting by BJP supporters. Stone were pelted near booth numbers 265 and 272. We have informed the election observer and police,” TMC leader, Sujit Bose said. Elections for 294 seats in West Bengal are being held in eight phases, results on May 2.
