Bengal elections 2021: Mamata fills nomination, says she can never forget Nandigram

Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee filed her nomination for the Nandigram assembly seat on Wednesday, where she will face off against her former protege and BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari, exuding trust in her ability to win, claiming she has never left the land of anti-farm land acquisition movement empty-handed.

Suvendu Adhikari, a TMC defector, has also accused Mamata of chanting the wrong mantra in front of the crowd. Mamata is using such methods, he claims, to gain political mileage ahead of the polls. He expressed trust that the BJP will form the next government in the eastern state, saying that the people of Nandigram will teach her a lesson.
